Reiki Courses
Anyone can learn Reiki with no prior ability or experience necessary, but it cannot be learnt from books it needs to be taught face to face by a Reiki Master Teacher. Reiki is not taught as ordinary knowledge in the way that other healing techniques are taught. No further involvement with Reiki organisations or the Reiki teacher is necessary after the workshops though joining a professional association and attending Reiki shares is advisable for development, connection and continued practice.
Within a First Degree (Reiki I) workshop you will learn about the history and uses of Reiki, receive the first level attunements, learn the principles of Reiki and receive instruction, practice of the self and others hand positions. This is the beginning of a fantastic discovery through practice of self treatments and meditation.
Second Degree training (Reiki II) is available to people who have completed the First Degree and have completed 10 treatments to others and is regularly self treating. In Reiki II, you receive the second level attunement and instruction in the uses of the three reiki symbols with self, others and at a distance.
There are two stages to master Level (Reiki IIIa) advance techniques and (Reiki master teacher) a level that requires a commitment to teach others and to be mindful of evolving with Reikis’ future and past whilst staying in the present.
