Reiki Training

Anyone can learn Reiki with no prior ability or experience necessary, but it cannot be learnt from books. It is not taught as ordinary knowledge in the way that other healing techniques are taught. The ability to do Reiki is simply transferred to the student by the Reiki teacher during an attunement process. Thereafter, every time the practitioner places his or her hands on the client with the intention of healing, the Reiki energies automatically flow through the practitioner into the client. Self-treatment is effected by placing your hands onto yourself-Reiki flows into you and begins its healing work. Reiki will go through clothes, blankets and even plaster casts. No further involvement with Reiki organisations or the Reiki teacher is necessary after the workshops. Each level is a complete course in itself.

In the First Degree (Reiki I), you will learn the history and uses of Reiki, receive the first level attunement and receive instruction and practice of the hand positions.

Second Degree training (Reiki II) is available to people who have completed the First Degree and wish to pursue Reiki as a profession. In Reiki II, you receive the second level attunement and instruction in the uses of three symbols, also practical knowledge about setting up practice and when to do it. The symbols have the ability to increase the power of Reiki, send Reiki to others at a distance (absent healing) and more effectively heal mental and emotional problems.

There  are two stages to Master Level (Reiki IIIa) advance techniques and  (Reiki teacher) teacher and is given a master symbol. This level requires a commitment to teach others and to be mindful of the evolving enigma that is Reiki.
